The new opinions on amblyopia in Oriental-Western Medicine

Abstract
|
|
|
Amblyopia is decreased visual acuity without detectable organia lesion of the eye. The most common causes of amblyopia are strabismus, ¢¥in which the image frim the deviated eye is suppressed to prevent diplopia, and anisometropia, in which an inability to focus the eyes simultaneosly causes suppression of the image of one and high hypermetropia, in which both eyes may become amblyopic because of failure to form a focused image in either eye and visual deprivation amblyopia.
The results were summarized as follows
The earlier finding and onset of treatments are important in case of treatment on amblyopia. The most of treatment on amblyopia are used occulsion and atropine penalization. In Oriental Medicine, the aim of treatment is Kun-Bi-Tong-Kyu(V=P AIR), Ick-Qi-Yang-Hyol(aJK-1fu), Kun-Bi-Bo-Sin(019 $4%), Seo-Tong-Mack -Rack ( it ski(`) and Acuputure theraphy-Chongmyong(NAPPIA) Sungup(*W, Ch¢¥anjuk(t), Sajukong(Mt), Yangbaek(Wk¢¥3), Tongjaryo(NT-U), Yemyong(I$R)J), Kuhwo(f**) are often used for amblyopia.
